I’m the featured artist at the Greenwich Printmakers gallery, 1a Greenwich Market, London SE10 9HZ, until February 15.
You can read about how I made my latest etching “A Soft Embrace” and a bit about my artistic practice on the Greenwich Printmakers blog here.
This is the largest amount of framed work I have shown together so far, and it’s really exciting to see it up on the walls as a body of work. Most of the time I see my work as individual pieces or small series or groups of prints, so when I have a bigger show like this it’s a great opportunity to take a step back and notice connections between pictures that I might not have noticed, and also just to take stock of where I am and where I’m going.
I’ve made a number of changes to my etching style and process recently and I’m really happy with the direction I’ve been moving in.
I also have a browser of unframed work in the gallery and greeting cards of some of my prints.

I hope you are able to get to see my show in person, as I find the depth of detailed etchings, drypoints and monotypes like these don’t really translate well to photos. The surface of the paper, the way it is embossed by the plate and particularly the dark shadows look so much more velvety and textural in person.
I’m a member of the Greenwich Printmakers co-operative group, and this is my home base for my prints all year round, so if you can’t make it, I always have framed and unframed work available there. We also have an online shop where you can view and buy selected works.
